CECAS: Explore Wild Foods: Foraging and Fermentation Workshop

Get ready for a beautiful, hands-on experience celebrating the land, food, and community connection.

Join us on Saturday, July 3rd at CECAS (Myross Wood House, Leap, West Cork) for a seasonal workshop led by Chloë Dempsey of @fermentforagegrow.

We’ll begin the day with a foraging walk, exploring the vibrant summer hedgerows and woodlands of Myross to gather wild edibles, learn how to identify seasonal plants, and reconnect with the rhythms of nature.

Then it’s time to roll up your sleeves for a hands-on fermentation session, where you’ll discover how to preserve the flavours of summer in your very own wild flower soda.

We’ll close the day with a tasting table, featuring foraged and fermented delights — a true celebration of place, season, and community.

What’s Included:

  • Guided foraging walk through woodlands and hedgerows
